The text of most recent dream reports from participants in the Demographic Survey 2010 and other sources. The exact question for the Demographic Survey 2010: Please describe your most recent dream, either from last night or within the last week, in as much detail as possible. The response is limited to 3000 characters. My husband's friend gave me a new black sports car but my husband was driving it. He was suppose to pick me up from wherever I was but he kept driving by me. I was so angry. Our close firend (who died over 10 years ago) was laughing at the situation and told me to calm down and that my husband was "just pulling your chain". Then he told me to go and watch the baseball game. So I picked up two heavy suitcases and walked into a baseball stadium and watched the game for a while. I kept walking out of the stadium to see if my husband was there. Finally I saw him and I got into the car. There were groceries filling the entire inside of the car (not in bags, just loose grocery items like tomatoes and canned food). I was trying to tell my husband that I was angry with him, but he couldn't hear me because the radio was blaring loud music. I started to cry.

The text of earliest remembered dream reports from participants in the Demographic Survey 2010 and other sources. Exact question: Please describe the first dream you remember from childhood in as much detail as you can. Response is limited to 3000 characters. I remember dreaming that I was in our church at the midnight service before Easter. The church was empty and dimly lighted with candles. I heard a knock at the door. Then the door opened and it was windy outside. I could see the cemetary across the parking lot. All the people were walking from their graves towards the church. They were smiling and happy. I remember seeing my grandmother walking and smiling. The wind was gently blowing her mint green nightgown. I felt so happy. I was about 6 years old when I had this dream and I remember it like it happened yesterday. [Note: I was only three years old when my grandmother died and I never met her. I only saw her several times through a window at the hospital when my family went to visit her. I also saw photos of her.]

The text of worst nightmare reports from participants in the Demographic Survey 2010 and other sources. Exact question: Please describe the worst nightmare you can remember, from any period of your life, in as much detail as you can. Response is limited to 3000 characters. When I was young I had a recurring nightmare which involved people trying to make me lay down in a hospital. I would try and try to run away but I could only move in slow motion. I knew that if the people got me to lay down on the hospital bed I would die. I was terrified! Then I would wake up and feel safe. After that I realized that I was actually still asleep and the people were still there trying to trick me into laying down. This would happen several times before I would actually wake up.
