The dream reports collected in the SDDb come from many sources: individual dream journals, biographies, demographic surveys, psychology experiments, anthropological fieldwork, and literary fiction.
I dreamt that my dad and I were sitting on the couch in the house I grew up in drinking coffee and watching the weather channel like any other day. I lost my dad 5 months ago to a long medical battle. I miss him, and it was the most familiar thing we did.
The SDDb has two main functions: analyze surveys about people's sleep and dream patterns, and explore the collection of more than 30,000 dream reports.
